Keyboard

Working on a song for the band called "such Great Heights" by the postal service. I've been working on it for two weeks now...I admit not as much as i should, that's why it's taking so long, but the beginning to the song is fairly complex and I can tell it's going to take another two weeks to get really comfortable with. Most songs, for me take about a week... like two of the three Evanescence songs I know. ("My immortal" and "My last Breath") Sarah McLachlan song's take FOREVER to learn, but that's only because I don't know chords and I've never had lessons. I don't want to either...I don't know why, I'm just happy doing it this way. The keyboardist for The Postal Service, Benjamin Gibbard, has a fare amount of skills I can tell from that one song. Not to mention most bands have a lot of equipment that we don't, we don't even have a permanent band name yet! I'd love to be able to really play, but as i said before, I don't want to take lessons. It might take the fun out of it, besides, my specialty is strictly singing!
